General description

Imagine yourself running and taking an "over-the-shoulder" shot. Someone hits you and you do a "tilt" shot.

You are mad because that somebody flies away, so you need to take a "crane" shot. After all those shots, you are going to a lab, to make the story clear and understandable.

If you don't think you are some acrobat or crazy Powerpuff superhero, and you recognize some of those "shots", then you are the right man for us.

LBG Maribor is organizing the course about film making where attendants will be learning about filming techniques and how to use a camera.

After learning, you will have a chance to

to try it for real, to make an actual movie! With professional assist from our lecturers, you will be able to create a really stunning movie that you will proudly

show to your friends, girlfriends/boyfriends, family and even to your grandchildren when the time comes.

Besides film making, you will be in the Maribor, city under Pohorje mountain, with beautiful landscape and

friendly people ready to host you in order to have the best autumn ever. Apply! We are waiting!

Information for applicants

Selection criteria:

Motivation letter and answers to the proposed questions (be original, creative, crazy!). We are also aiming for gender equality and a variety of nationalities to be present at the event.

Practical arrangements

All of the following are covered by the event fee:

Lodging:

Student dorms or hostels.

Meals:

Three meals per day, at least one hot.

Transportation:

Mostly public transport and walking.
