Participate in EBEC

Want to try yourself in becoming the best engineering student in Europe? Then EBEC is certainly for you!

The European BEST Engineering Competition (EBEC) is an annual contest organised by BEST. It consists of three levels of which the first one is the local round of EBEC. Thousands of students across Europe compete in teams of four. The winners of the local rounds proceed to the national or regional rounds, where they are competing against other winners of local rounds in their region or country, to advance to the third level - EBEC Final. The final round gathers the thirty most qualified teams and is held during the first weeks of August.

Each year, BEST conducts a project named European BEST Engineering Competition. Project consists of 3 levels and organises a Local BEST Engineering Competition where teams of 4 students compete against each other. The winners of this local event compete against each other in National and Regional BEST Engineering Competitions. The European Final gathers the winners of the latter and happens during the first week of August.

A student can take part in the local round of EBEC only in his/her own university. The list of local rounds with open application period can be found below. For the full list of rounds and more information check EBEC website.

Participate in Local Competitions

There's more to competitions in BEST than EBEC and they can be equally challenging!

Local Engineering Competitions are competitions, organized by your local BEST group, that are custom made for you.

They can be team based competitions, aimed to put general engineering skills at test, or they can be more specialised, like IT focused competitions, architecture focused engineering, among others.

National/Regional Rounds of EBEC

Only competitions with application period still open are displayed.
