BEST Bucharest came to light in September 1995 at the initiative of a group of students from the POLITEHNICA University in Bucharest and it became a full member of the Board of European Students of Technology in April 1997 during GA1997 Belgium.
Ever since, its activities have developed year by year and they are continuously expanding with the help of our members' dedication and creativity.
In the 14 years of experience we organized:
- 22 Academical Courses
- 14 Job Fairs
- 7 Engineering Competitions
- 7 Cultural Exchanges

Imagine a medieval town in the middle of Romania in the land where Dracula used to drink beer and suck blood. Imagine 30 BESTies from Bucharest dressed in kings, vampires, princesses, craftsmen, prisoners, guards, witches, beggers... Imagine a group of participants in a BEST Course running all night long bewteen the ruins and forests in the old town trying to solve a mystery and rescue a poor man from dying. We, BESTies, like the internet. And we like it very much :) We like sending mails, having OMs, chatting with people, surfing the PA. But what to do to feel young and restless again (besides internet :) )? Well every weekly meeting we choose a responsible person to organize next Friday (or Thursday) a small event: Friday Sport's Night. His responsability is to take us somewhere to do something. That something can be footbal, tennis, ice-skating, quest in the city, shopping in mall (with limited amount of money), dancing, singing, gambling ... It's a cool way to have fun, keep in shape and meet your friends after a long week of courses and lectures (at BEST)! That's all folks! |

"From the day I was born my dream was to make a great PM&AM. The first days of my life were so great, until somebody stole me. I missed so much my LBG, but finnally they managed to get me back. In the following months I travelled a lot, met so many BESTies and had so much fun with you all! I could say I was quite popular : so many girls hugged and played with me. From time to time (when not photoshooting) I worked hard with the organisers to prepare something special for you.

PM2008 is over, but the memories will always be alive
This great event has been for us our goal during a whole year. We worked with passion and let our imagination fly in order to make a memorable event. On 6th November our dream came to life. We can't describe our feeling when we saw our delegates happy and with a big smile on their faces. We can't describe our motivation to make each day special. We had the best time of our BEST life and PM will always remain for the organisers a wonderful event!

We are BEST Bucharest. A group of people with dreams and passions, who are whole-heartedly dedicated to what the BEST spirit represents. We are convinced that everything can be achieved through the power of friendship, that's why our most treasured value is ourselves, the connections that take form between us and the magic that unites our minds and hearts under the same goals. Because we can, but mostly because we feel we can, we have tried to share some of our energy to people around BEST. Because we have received enormly from BEST, we want to be able to give back a small part. For everything, we humbly thank you.
