3G, 4G, 5G What are they? Simple as it is, the G stands for Generation, as in the next generation of wireless technologies. Each generation is faster, more secure and more reliable. Thanks to it, nowadays when you want to download a new game, movie or stream a TV show in HD, you can do it without buffering and lags that make the experience not worth the wait.
- Have you ever wondered what lies behind the story of the 3G and 4G technologies?
- Why is it that because of them we are able to connect with the rest of the world in less than 5 seconds?
- Are you just curious about all the possibilities that 5G will offer in just few years? (Thats right, faster data speed and fully-autonomous cars are just few of them)

Security mechanisms for 5G mobile networks.
Learning goals and objectives: Be able to compare the latest generations of mobile wireless technologies. Explain how each generation differs one from another and why. Acknowledge the current state of 5G and its potential use cases. Understand the importance of the security requirements for 5G mobile network. Build perspectives on future technological advances in mobile wireless communication. Be able to explain the previously mentioned concepts to those wishing to do more research into the above topics.
