General description

Do you have any plans for this summer? Do you want to develop your skills in 3D printing, and entrepreneurship and at the same time visit a beautiful country with fascinating traditions? Sign up for our summer course!

While attending the course, you will deepen your knowledge of 3D modeling, technical drawing, and designing prototypes for future products. Also, you will learn the basics of marketing and how to sell your ideas.

This means that during the 11 days of the course, we will brainstorm innovative ideas to improve life on the student campus and then learn how to present those ideas. Toward the end of the course, you will have the chance to see your idea taking shape in a 3D-printed miniature version of your product!

Fields of activity:

Content and topics:
The participants will have the opportunity to share the insufficiencies they have discovered in their dormitories or university for which they will brainstorm solutions. They will then create 3d replicas of those solutions making use of AutoCAD, after which those will be 3d printed. With the miniature objects in hand, the participants will learn how to make a marketing plan and how to present that object in front of an audience.
Learning goals and objectives:
The participants will learn how to brainstorm innovative ideas and design them in AutoCAD. They will then learn about marketing and making a proper presentation for that product.
Examination type:
Project presentation.

Information for applicants

Selection criteria:
Participants will be selected based on their motivation letter and their answers to the three questions.

Practical arrangements

All of the following are covered by the event fee:

Lodging:
Student Dormitories and cabin in the woods during the weekend trip.
Meals:
Three meals per day, at least one hot (provided by organizers).
Transportation:
Public transportation, walking (transportation will be provided by the organizers at no extra charge).
