For all of you sound waves surfers out there, BEST Bucharest is bringing you the hit of the Summer of 2010, straight from the top charts of all time Summer Courses, "ROCK MY SUMMER! TUNE INTO THE SECRETS OF AUDIO ENGINEERING".

When most of the people think of engineering, most of them think of buildings, roads or machines. But how about audio engineering?

This is more than engineering, it's about sound, music and acoustics and this comes along well with long parties, lots of friends, unforgettable times in the Carpathian mountains, fun learning, hot summer sounds and many, many surprises.

Academic information

Content and topics:

The course presents general aspects about sounds and introduces you into the world of audio engineering. Learn about the physics of sound and how we are using engineering to make sound what it is today: acoustics, electronics, software.

Learning goals and objectives:

You will find out basic aspects on audio engineering and at the end you will know what sound is and how it is manipulated using electronics, software and architecture

The selection will be based on the motivation letters.

Practical arrangements

All of the following are covered by the event fee:

Lodging:

Participants will be hosted in the student dormitory next to the university.

Meals:

We will have three meals per day, at least two of them warm.

Transportation:

Public transport during our stay in Bucharest and we will have a private bus for the weekend trips.
