Civil Engineering in Urban Districts

General description

The summer course will include introductory lectures on various selected topics of urban planning and development. Geotechnical engineering is the topic for several sessions, with special emphasis on site investigation and ground properties, soil structure interaction and protection against slide and landfalls. Environmental issues are also an important part of the agenda.
