Polymeric Materials Applications

General description

Nowadays, polymers are materials with numerous applications in various fields such as industry, pharmacy, medicine, agriculture among others.

In this Course we intend to give some information on the preparation and characterisation of polymers as well as their application in the various fields.

The students will have the opportunity to visit some Companies related with these materials mainly in the areas of cellulose, paints , copolymers and food industry.

The participant will have as well a unique oportunity to get to know the culture, the living and traditions of Coimbra and Portugal in general.

Therefor there will be various activities, as night programs, traditional dinner and thematic parties, and so on.
