Nuclear energy - a valuable source for sustainable development

General description

This is a course where you will learn things about nuclear energy and

the operation of nuclear power plants you always wanted to know, but

never dared to ask. You will learn the basics about reactor physics, the

use of nuclear energy for production of electricity and topics closely

related with it like nuclear safety and radioactive waste management. On

the program is also a visit to the nuclear power plant Krsko and

exercises on a research nuclear reactor. Last but not least you

will experience the Slovenian culture and find out more about

our little country on the sunny side of the Alps.
