CIM at work: an introduction to Computer Integrated Manufacturing

General description

This course intends to give an industry guided overview of the actual CIM technologies, using the CCP (Oporto CIM Center) advanced, integrated and flexible manufacturing system.

The course will cover the concepts of system integration and the essencials of robotics, CNC, industrial automation and communications, atificial vision and simulation using real demonstrations and cases.
