Major Technological Hazards of the Industry

General description

The programme will consist of 4 days with 6 hours of lectures each, and one day of visit of a belgian radioactive waste facilities. The following topics will be covered: elements of risk analysis, accident scenarios, introduction to risk management and ethics, introduction to reliability analysis, the human factor, physical and mathematical modeling of accident scenarios: the source term, two-phase releases, atmospheric dispersion, radioactive waste management... And during the two week-ends, we will make you discover the secrets of Belgium !
