Connectivity, Information and Knowledge :Chaos or Symphony in the Business World?

General description

The emerging Information Society is being built along three main axis, corresponding to the Connectivity, the Information and the Knowledge dimensions. These three axis span the space within which ORGANIZATIONS exist, interact with each other and with their environment.

The purpose of the course is to present, in a highly interactive way, a solid and up-to-date framework to deal with these issues, conceived in terms of an "Architectural" approach to the design problems raised by the use of "Information Systems" in modern organizations. The student will acquire mental tools to deal with the use of Information Technologies in its professional life, no matter what is its field of study.

The course will use a case-study approach and the participants are expected to actively participate in the debates.
