Probabilistic approaches in structural engineering

General description

The first days of the course will be devoted to introduce the bases of the treatment of uncertainties in practical civil engineering problems through the theory of probability, which will be illustrated by examples.
In the following days, some key points of the new Structural Eurocodes will be discussed, for example Earthquake Engineer ing and Wind Engineering.
