Microsystems and Nanotechnology
General description
At the MIC/BEST Summer School at DTU, you will learn about research at the forefront of microsystems and nanotechnology, from some of Europe's leading experts. You will get hands on experience in silicon chip fabrication in MIC's 600m2 advanced cleanroom facility. You will learn to use the latest robotic biochemistry techniques for fabricating so-called DNA chips, which promise to revolutionise the medical and biotechnology
industries. You will learn to manipulate single atoms and create
nanodevices, using advanced scanning probe microscopes.
