Polymers - A world of applications

General description

This course will cover the applications of polymeric materials in several areas. Emphasis will be made in the developments for applications in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, industry and agriculture. There will be some visits to companies that operate inside these areas in Portugal, as well as some laboratory practices, where the participants will prepare some polymer-based drug delivery systems.
