facilitates the recognition of periods of study abroad and makes study
programmes easy to read and compare for local and foreign students.
60 ECTS credits represent the workload of a full-time student during one academic year. 1 credit stands for
approximately 25 to 30 working hours (lectures, laboratory work,
company visits, ...). However, universities sometimes use other ways to
calculate the number of ECTS credits they issue.

All optimised events follow the same season structure and deadlines, and
a semi-automatic optimisation is run to ensure that
all selected students are accepted in their event of highest
personal preference.
You can only participate to one optimised event per season.
Only BEST Courses are optimised.
