Course Information Form can be possibly used for obtaining credits or travel expenses refunding from students home university. It contains information about the course as the name of the university where the course took place, the contact info of the main teacher having supervised the course, a short description of the aims of the course, the number of learning hours the courses had. The information provided on the Course Information Form are validated by the signature of the main teacher supervising the event.

ECTS Credits
ECTS stands for the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System. This system facilitates the recognition of periods of study abroad and makes study programmes easy to read and compare for local and foreign students.

60 ECTS credits represent the workload of a full-time student during one academic year. 1 credit stands for approximately 25 to 30 working hours (lectures, laboratory work, company visits, ...). However, universities sometimes use other ways to calculate the number of ECTS credits they issue.

Non-optimised event
Event that is not optimised. You can participate to more than 1 non-optimised event per season (even combined with one optimised event). All BEST Leisure Events and BEST Events on Education fit in this category. As an exception, BEST Course can be non-optimised, if there is some reason why it can not follow the season's deadlines.

Optimised event
All optimised events follow the same season structure and deadlines, and a semi-automatic optimisation is run to ensure that all selected students are accepted in their event of highest personal preference. You can only participate to one optimised event per season. Only BEST Courses are optimised.

Promotion-only Event
Event that is promoted by BEST, but that is not organised by BEST, and/or does not fit the rules of BEST "Vivaldi" public events.
