Leave our planet now, come on!
The future of our world is uncertain, and the health of our planet is getting worse. As the youth generation with minds as bright as stars, it is our responsibility to plan a journey we are facing. A journey that will take us out into space and settle us on new worlds that await us out there. These days when asteroid mining, aerospace airplane traffic and moon missions become increasingly hot topics, there is a higher than ever demand on new ideas and long-term visions for our future development in space exploration.
Space research and exploration is all about taking small steps for people and giant leaps for mankind. It is important to remember all the progress that has already been made and all those scientists and engineers who eagerly wait for us to carry on from where they left.
What is your first thought when you hear "space research"? People have a very different field of interest, and depending on who you ask they can answer anything from landing on comets to searching for alien life. The aim of this Summer Course is to gather, learn and discuss space research and exploration so that we can identify our visions about it, and hopefully take steps in the direction towards making them come true.
We students, we are the future. As the title says, we want to prepare the world for a future where people can travel through space, discover new worlds and learn about their secrets. If YOU want to (go to Mars or) know everything there is to know about space - both near and distant - then apply to our awesome Summer Course 2015! We promise that it's gonna be the BEST way to spend a week in August and your chance to totally BREAK FREE from your normal life!
