Content and topics:
This course offers the opportunity to explore the representative towers of Cluj-Napoca, and learn about their history through a guided tour. During the tour, one will observe the architectural details, analyze the materials used, and understand the technologies involved in the towers’ construction. Participants will apply the knowledge gained by building their own tower, showcasing their creativity and practical skills. The course integrates specialized software for CAD, developing skills in architectural planning and design. These plans will adhere to the technical specifications learned and serve as a basis for subsequent construction. Participants will build models of the towers according to the created plans using various materials such as cardboard, wooden dowels, clay, foam boards, glue, and paint.

This course structure aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of designing and constructing towers, incorporating elements of architecture and civil engineering.

Project with final presentation or evaluation of the final prototype.
