Content and topics:
During our course you will have the unique opportunity to build and upgrade a model of a car, and learn how to make it more efficient and move using solar panels. Moreover you’ll get to know basics of how gears work, the importance of different car parts, how to tackle complex issues in teams, as well as obtain knowledge of designing and printing in 3D. You’ll have the opportunity to actually print the 3D prototypes and use them in your projects.
Learning goals and objectives:
Our objectives are for you to: -> learn how to design and print in 3D -> get to know fundamentals of gears, solar energy and material efficiency -> acquire the ability to find and solve complex problems -> be able to apply gained technical knowledge into practice -> be able to implement power efficient solutions -> get to know how to approach technical upgrades of machines and equipment -> create a prototype of actual solutions that could potential be applied on bigger scale in real life -> gain hands-on experience
